When machines, equipment and structures are created by using raw materials, fabricators use a process called metal fabrication. At Pushard Welding, we offer contractors, equipment manufacturers and resellers our metal fabrication abilities during their special projects. These projects may be items such as hand railings, stairs and structural frames for kitchen equipment.
If you have equipment that you need to have created by metal fabrication, Pushard Welding would be more than happy to submit drawings. Once awarded the contract, our metal fabricators will choose appropriate materials to begin constructing your project. Some of the metal fabrication customers we produce equipment for are:
There are several different types of raw material that fabricators use during the fabricating process. Such raw materials may be:
- Plate Metal
- Pre-Formed Metal
- Expanded Metal
- Welding Wire
These materials must first be cut to the correct size. This is accomplished with tools like a special band saw or cutting torches. The metal can then be formed into the shape needed by using dies. Tube bending machines as well as rolling machines are used to bend and round sections of metal. Parts are then welded together. After the metal structure is cooled, it is usually sand blasted and painted. The end product will then be inspected by our team of fabricators before reaching our customer.
